How are prices on OriEx set?

By the supplier, in Toman, and shown to everyone exactly as entered — OriEx adds no markup and there is no second, buyer-facing price. Each listing also carries a US-dollar equivalent recalculated daily from that day's exchange rate, so an international buyer can compare lots without doing the conversion. Suppliers are reminded to reconfirm their price as a lot ages, and how recently a listing was updated affects where it appears in the default order.

How do I contact a supplier?

Open any listing. You can either message the supplier through OriEx at any hour, or reveal their phone number and email — both are free and both simply require a signed-in account. Phone details are released between 08:00 and 20:00 Tehran time, because the suppliers here are growers and storage operators rather than a call centre; outside those hours the chat stays open and they answer when they are back.

Does OriEx charge a commission?

Never. OriEx takes no cut of any deal — what you agree with the other party stays between the two of you. Listing your inventory, being found in search, and messaging anyone are free and permanent. There is an optional Pro subscription that adds wider access to purchase requests, higher placement in the default listing order and performance analytics; it changes nothing about the price you agree on.

Does OriEx check who its sellers are?

A seller may choose to have their identity verified, and that badge means one thing precisely: an OriEx admin has looked at their Iranian national ID card and confirmed it matches the account. It is a statement about a person, never about their fruit. OriEx does not inspect, grade, certify or guarantee any apples, any cold storage or any shipment, and issues no trade documents. Inspect the goods and settle the terms with the supplier before you commit.

What if I can't find exactly what I need?

Post a purchase request setting out the variety, size, tonnage and destination you are looking for. Suppliers on the platform can see it and approach you directly, so the search runs the other way round for once. It costs nothing.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order is set per lot by the supplier and is shown on each listing. Most export-grade lots start between 20 and 100 metric tons, which is roughly one to five refrigerated trailers.

Which languages does the platform support?

The platform is fully localized in English, Persian, and Arabic, including right-to-left layouts and locale-aware price and date formatting.
